Step 1. Obtain the macOS Monterey Installer

Step 2. Format the USB Disk

Now you have-Connect your USB drive to a USB port and then launch Disk Utility. Make certain that all devices are displayed. Then, from the list, choose your USB drive.

Select GUID Partition Map and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) from the list before clicking the Erase button. Give it a name like Installer.

Step 3. Copy the macOS Monterey Installer to USB
